          林長壽,臺灣大學數學系畢業，紐約大學數學博士。短期留美後，於1987年返臺，曾於臺灣大學、中正大學任教，歷任國家理論科學研究中心主任、臺大數學科學中心主任、現為臺大理論科學研究中心主任。1998年當選中央研究院院士，同年獲得第一屆晨興數學金獎。
